BALANCING IT ALL OUT:

Concluding thoughts

I hope this study has in some small way helped you to properly view your role as a Christian, as a child of the king. There are only a few concluding thoughts that I wish to leave with you by way of this chapter.

First, never forget who you are or allow those around you to forget. Any time someone looks at me and my life, they should see Christ. The same is true of all dedicated Christians. We are to be representatives of all that is right and oppose all that is evil. Our lives should demonstrate this constantly in every aspect.

Second, never allow yourself to be lax in things concerning the doctrine of Christ. We must always take a firm stand when it comes to “Thus Saith The Lord” and never compromise even to the slightest amount. Even such a little thing as requiring circumcision changed the gospel of Christ totally into another gospel of a different kind (Galatians 1:6-12). We must never change God’s revealed will for our lives.

Third, always know that you know that you know that Christ is the Messiah and that He can and will protect and save you if you will submit your life to His divine will. This fact is unquestioned if one studies and believes the Bible. No matter what this life brings, Christ is mine if I so choose.

Fourth, remember that through the strength of Christ, we can do all things. I can find Christ and His will only through prayer and Bible study. If I want the strength offered, I must ask, seek, and knock.

Fifth, remember that you can understand the will of God, He saw to it by revealing that will to mankind. He designed us and He designed the Bible for us. It is understandable. Remember, also, that not only can we know the truth, we can do it if we only will.

Sixth, remember that God is on our side. So is the Son and the Spirit. With that array on our side, none can effectively oppose us or stop us. We are children of the king.

Seventh, ground yourself in the church for it is the bride of Christ. It is in the church that all spiritual blessings are found. Lead others to that church, the Lord’s church, and away from the doctrines of men. Be careful of your friendships and always remember that Jesus is the best friend you will ever have.

And now I commend unto you this book. May God bless the study of it so that only good may come from its use.
